Cat coordinates

  1. R1C6Row 1, column 6
  2. R2C3Row 2, column 3
  3. R3C1Row 3, column 1
  4. R4C4Row 4, column 4
  5. R5C2Row 5, column 2
  6. R6C5Row 6, column 5

The 6 cats occupy distinct rows, columns and regions. Neighboring rows place cats at least two columns apart, so no cats touch at a corner.

Why the key move works

Place the top single at R2 C3

R2 C3 is the whole small pink region. It is forced and removes column 3 from the lower board.

Complete solving process

All steps are shown below. The route uses rule-based deductions and explains each forced square or exclusion. You can use the answer above to check your board without reading the whole sequence.

01

Keep the top-right cat at R1 C6

This opening cat completes the teal region, row 1 and column 6. The other teal cells are not available.

Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.

Place the left single at R3 C1

The darker pink region has only R3 C1. Its cat excludes R4 C1 and R4 C2 by contact.

Place the purple single at R6 C5

The purple region contains only R6 C5. It completes row 6 and column 5.

Force the light-green cat at R5 C2

Light-green cells in rows 2, 3 and 6 are in occupied rows. R4 C1 and R4 C2 touch R3 C1, and R5 C1 shares its column. Only R5 C2 remains.

Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.

Finish the yellow cat at R4 C4

Row 4 is the last unfilled row. Columns 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 are used, leaving R4 C4.

Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.

Step 6 · Finish the yellow cat at R4 C4

What can go wrong on Level 5?

  • R4 C5 belongs to the teal region, which is already filled by R1 C6. The source video shows a wrong attempt here.
  • R5 C4 is not the yellow answer: the light-green cat belongs in row 5, and the yellow cat must finish row 4.

Audit the row, column, colored region and immediate diagonal neighbors after every cat. If your copied board gives no solution, check uncertain X marks before changing a region boundary.

The lesson to carry into the next board

When a small region supplies a forced cat, cross its row and column before testing the broad region beside it.

On your next puzzle, look for the same type of constraint before choosing a square. A useful question is: “Which row, column or region now has fewer candidates because of my last cat?” Keep the answer tied to a specific marked cell.

This guide covers the mobile-game board visible in the linked Nasir Ali Gamer recording. Its region geometry, starting cat and completed cat locations were visually checked against the extracted opening and final frames; a solver verified the unique legal solution. Region numbers are arbitrary identifiers. Compare the opening screenshot with your board before following the coordinates.

Level 5 questions

What is the Meowdoku Level 5 answer?

For this 6×6 recorded board, the cats belong at R1C6, R2C3, R3C1, R4C4, R5C2, R6C5. Compare the opening regions and given cats before applying the answer.

Why does the video use a different move order?

Several forced moves can be available at once. The written guide orders them to explain a clear deduction chain. Rejected trial crosses in the source video are not placements to copy.

What if my board is different?

Use the Meowdoku solver with your exact region map and known cats. A different map can have a different answer under the same number.
